Revit Foundations & Interface Mastery

  • Understanding families, views, levels and grids
  • Setting up a new architectural project from scratch

  • Drawing and editing walls: basic, curtain and stacked wall types

  • Editing wall types: layers, materials and thickness
  • Understanding constraints and avoiding common modeling errors
  • Homework: Model a single-room structure — 4 walls, floor, roof, door, window

Developing the Building — Roofs, Stairs & Site

  • Pitched vs flat roofs: slope and overhang parameters
  • Adding ceiling plans and customising ceiling types per room

  • Homework: Add a second floor and sloped roof to your Week 1 model

  • Homework: Fully furnish and annotate one complete floor

Sheets, Title Blocks & Drawing Set Production
  • Creating and customising a firm title block with your branding
  • Placing plan, section, elevation and 3D views onto sheets
  • Managing view scales and detail levels per sheet
  • Creating door, window and room finish schedules
  • Exporting to PDF for clients and DWG for consultants
  • Homework: Produce a 4-sheet drawing set: site, GF plan, section, elevation
